Arsenal have received an injury boost ahead of their vital Champions League second leg clash with Monaco, after Gabriel Paulista has been deemed fit to feature, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 24-year old sustained a hamstring injury in his team’s 2-1 victory over struggling Queens Park Rangers earlier in the month, but is now ready to be called upon.
Arsene Wenger’s side suffered a devastating 3-1 home loss in the first leg, and now face a very tough task if they are to progress into the quarter-finals of the competition.
Although the Gunners were disappointing against Monaco almost three weeks ago, they have been on a great run of results, picking up four wins in their last four games following their Champions League defeat.
Wenger will be boosted by the return of Paulista, but will still be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, and club captain Mikel Arteta for the trip to France.
