Arsenal will be boosted by the return of star defender Laurent Koscielny ahead of their Champions League round-of-sixteen clash against Barcelona, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Koscielny has been struggling with a calf problem for the past few weeks, with his last game being their shock 3-2 loss to Manchester United at the end of February.
And his absence has been felt, with the Gunners falling way behind in the title race and then knocked out of the FA Cup by Watford during the weekend.
However, Koscielny will be available for their game against the European champions on Wednesday, which would be a huge boost in their attempt to turn a 2-0 deficit around at the Nou Camp and something for those looking to take advantage of the Betfred new player bonus to take into account.
In the first leg at the Emirates, Lionel Messi scored two second half goals to almost guarantee an Arsenal exit, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is hoping for a much better defensive display on Wednesday to stop the likes of Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez.
He said: “The magicians from Barcelona will demand a good defensive performance from our side.
“Our approach was not bad in the first leg but we lost our balance and got caught.”
