Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Liverpool’s huge injury crisis will improve when the two sides clash this Wednesday, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The two clubs meet in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter, even if their previous fixture earlier this season ended in a 0-0 draw.
However, it seems that the Gunners have a slight advantage heading in to the midweek game, with the Reds amid an injury crisis.
The Merseyside giants have no less than 13 stars sidelined due to respective problems, but Arsenal boss Wenger is adamant that a few of Liverpool’s key stars will recover in time to face his squad.
Wenger said: “Don’t worry, Arsene is a very good doctor. They always heal when they play against us.”
The Gunners put in a solid performance against Sunderland to qualify for the next stages of the FA Cup, with Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, and Joel Campbell all getting on the scoresheet in a 3-1 victory.
Meanwhile, the Reds only managed a 2-2 draw against Exeter in their FA Cup game last Friday.
