Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that Per Mertesacker, Shkodran Mustafi and Francis Coquelin are available for this weekend's Premier League clash with Stoke City.

All three missed Arsenal's Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday night, where the Gunners twice came from behind to beat the Foxes 4-3 during a pulsating clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Forward Alexis Sanchez, who continues to be linked with a move away from the club, will miss out again on Saturday, but Wenger has confirmed that trio Mertesacker, Mustafi and Coquelin are all in his thinking for the trip to the Britannia.

In quotes carried by Arsenal's official website, Wenger told reporters:

"Early team news is that from last week I think Mertesacker will be available again... they (Mustafi and Coquelin) will be in the squad, yes."

Nacho Monreal, Rob Holding and Sead Kolasinac started as a back three during Arsenal's clash with Leicester in the English capital last week.

Wenger is expected to keep with the same 3-4-3 formation for the match with Stoke, although at least one from Mertesacker and Mustafi could come into the defence.
