Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Flamini, and Mikel Arteta will all miss the upcoming match against Manchester United, Daily Star reports.
Although the three players are all out with an injury, the French boss was given a boost as star midfielder Francis Coquelin is expected to return to the starting lineup.
“Laurent Koscielny will certainly be out,” he said.
“Both Arteta and Flamini are out. Francis Coquelin should be OK.”
Koscielny picked up a hamstring injury in the 3-2 defeat at the hands of Olympiakos in the Champions League group stages and could be out for at least three weeks.
This would mean the France international is not likely to be up for selection against Watford, Bayern Munich, and Everton.
The Gunners have enjoyed a good start to their Premier League campaign, sitting fourth with only three points separating them from upcoming opponents and league leaders United.
However, Wenger has seen his side struggle to compete in Europe after already losing both of their Champions League fixtures.
