Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to hand Petr Cech a starting role in the Champions League ahead of David Ospina, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper has been given a regular spot in the Premier League, but the French manager opted to go with his second choice selection for Europe.
However, after Ospina made a costly error in the 3-2 Champions League home defeat to Olympiacos, his playing time looks to be in huge jeopardy.
With the Gunners already losing their first two matches in the competition, they will need to pick up all the points they can or risk being knocked out.
Wenger will now have a tough task qualifying into the latter stages given that their next two matches in Europe will see them face an on-form Bayern Munich both home and away.
Cech is now expected to be selected for both clashes and will also likely be standing between the sticks with his side face Premier League leaders Manchester United at the weekend.
