Arsenal have once again loaned out goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to AS Roma.
The Gunners confirmed the news on their official website, announcing that the Polish international would return to the Serie A side for another season. Roma finished third last season, with Szczesny playing in 34 league games.
The 26-year-old also featured in 8 UEFA Champions League games, and will be set to feature in the competition again. Under UEFA rules, he is eligible to play against Arsenal if the two teams were drawn against each other.
Szczesny joined the Gunners academy back in 2006, and has nearly racked up 200 appearances in an Arsenal shirt, although he has only played one Premier League game since New Years Eve 2014.
Arsenal game time became limited in the 2014-15 season, before his first spell in Rome was confirmed with Petr Cech arriving at the Emirates Stadium.
Cech featured in 34 league games last year, with David Ospina playing in the other 4.
