Arsenal have confirmed that they have agreed new deals for key midfield duo Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla, as per The Guardian.
The Gunners have ambitions of fighting for the Premier League title this season and will be boosted by the commitment of two key players.
Walcott’s future has been a major point of contention for a number of months, but the England international has ended speculation by penning a new four-year deal with Arsene Wenger’s men.
The versatile attacker had an injury-prone 2014-15, but will hope to start the forthcoming campaign with a bang. His new deal is reportedly worth £140,000 per week.
Cazorla continues to be a driving creative force in the Gunners’ team and has agreed a two-year extension with the Emirates Stadium outfit.
Despite being linked with a move back to his homeland over the summer, Cazorla is set to partner Francis Coquelin in the Arsenal midfield again this season.
