Arsenal have received another blow to their injury woes, with confirmation that star midfielder Santi Cazorla will miss at least three months of action with a knee ligament problem, according to reports from the Guardian.
The Gunners are currently going through a mid-season crisis with no less than ten players injured in their first team, with the latest three coming from their 1-1 draw against Norwich City last weekend.
Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez were both forced off the field during the game, but Cazorla played all 90 minutes despite having some pain in his knee.
But now it has been confirmed that the Spain international will be sidelined until March, giving manager Arsene Wenger a huge headache heading into some important fixtures in December.
Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, and Danny Welbeck are all out with long-term injuries, while the likes of Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott are looking to recover in time for this weekend’s Emirates clash with Sunderland.
