Arsenal are considering a shock move for Newcastle United starlet Rolando Aarons, who has failed to agree to a new contract, according to reports from the Mirror.
Aarons was previously linked with a move away from St. James’ Park last summer, with the 20-year-old struggling for regular playing time due to poor form and injuries this season.
His frustrations have thus alerted several clubs, with Italian duo AC Milan and Juventus also keen on the midfielder.
However, the Gunners are reportedly preparing an offer for Aarons at the end of the campaign, as he has yet to agree to a new contract with the deal expiring this June.
Aarons has been widely tipped to have a bright future in the professional game, and it seems Arsene Wenger wants to snap him up before other clubs come knocking for his signature.
The youngster has recently been called into the Newcastle first team and deployed as a left back, despite naturally being left winger.
