Arsenal are looking to sign Birmingham wonderkid Demarai Gray at the end of the campaign, according to reports from the Express.
The English youngster is set to leave the St Andrew’s with only over a year left remaining on his current contract, which has alerted the Gunners who are readying an offer for his services.
However, the Emirates club will be facing some stiff competition from the likes of Everton, Newcastle United, Tottenham, and Liverpool, who are all keen on signing the 19-year-old.
Gray was a subject of a £5million bid from Bournemouth during the January window, but the offer was rejected by the Midlands club.
But due to his expiring contract, Gray could make the switch to the Premier League for a cut-price £3million deal.
Liverpool seem to have a slight advantage in signing the starlet, as the Reds inserted a first-option clause into Gray’s contract when they loaned Jordan Ibe to Birmingham earlier in the campaign.
Gray has scored six goals in 37 Championship appearances this season.
