Arsenal are still continuing their search to sign a defender in January and have now turned to Espanyol centre-back Hector Moreno to add some cover to their injury-prone back line, Daily Mail reports.
The 26-year-old has been linked over a move to the Premier League on multiple occasions, with Tottenham Hotspur, Swansea City, Everton, and Hull City all interested.
Arsene Wenger has already made it clear that he is likely to add another defender to his squad and with Mathieu Debuchy out for a lengthy period once again, he will surely need some extra reinforcements.
Apart from the Mexico international, the Gunners have been eyeing Virgil van Dijk from Celtic, Winston Reid from West Ham United, and also Loic Perrin from Saint-Etienne.
It is still unsure whether Moreno tops Wenger’s shopping list as he only recently healed from a broken leg and is yet to start a La Liga game so far this season.
