Arsenal are considering a move to sign Dinamo Zagreb ace Josip Brekalo as they look to add more youngsters into their ranks, Mirror reports.
The 17-year-old wonderkid is currently being tracked by manager Arsene Wenger’s top scout Gilles Grimandi after catching the eye of the Frenchman.
He has been on very impressive form in the UEFA Youth League with the Croatian club and could earn himself a switch to England in the near future after managing to score three goals in five appearances.
The Gunners boss is known for his ability to spot young talent and develop them into top stars, with Hector Bellerin, Joel Campbell, and Francis Coquelin all rising from the academy.
Despite being title contenders earlier in the campaign, a 3-3 draw with West Ham United at the weekend has pushed them further away from first place side Leicester City.
They are now sitting third on the Premier League table, but are 13 points behind the Foxes with only seven matches left to be played.
