Arsenal are stepping up their chase for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, after rumours that Borussia Dortmund will be allowing to let him leave for £29.2million, Metro reports.
The 25-year-old is currently being tipped to leave the Bundesliga, with what has been a poor season from his team.
Dortmund only recently made their way out of the relegation zone with a number of good results, given that they were sitting in last place only about a month ago.
It is now believed that if Arsene Wenger decides to pay the requested fee, the German club may be open to letting him leave in the upcoming window.
Aubameyang was previously linked with a number of Premier League clubs in the past, but any potential deal failed to materialize.
Tottenham Hotspur were close to signing the attacker back in 2012, but negotiations broke down as the player later revealed he was unhappy with the way talks were handled.
Chelsea, as well as Newcastle United, were also linked with him during the summer amid speculation that he was struggling to break into the first team, despite the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Bayern Munich.
