Arsenal could anger a majority of their supporters if they continue to stick with Arsene Wenger after a poll revealed that 87% of the fans are open to the club appointing a new manager, Daily Star reports.
The Gunners have been heavily criticised ever since they gave up a 3-0 lead against Anderlecht in the Champions League and then registered two defeats in a row at the hands of Swansea City and most recently Manchester United.
Wenger will now have to lead his team into Europe and in order to save their season, he needs to pick up wins in his remaining matches by avoiding any more defensive mishaps.
They face Group D leaders Borussia Dortmund as another loss could put the club into a major crisis as the supporters are already turning on their manager.
The poll, created by the fan site, AFC4LIFE.co.uk revealed that 87% of the voters believe Wenger’s time in the Emirates dugout maybe coming to a end.
Whatever the outcome is, it looks to all come down to their upcoming Champions League match as a win could pull some supporters back while a loss could lead to devastating outcomes.
