Arsenal are in negotiations over a summer deal for Borussia Monchengladbach ace Harvard Nordtveit, according to reports from Bild.
Nordtveit has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga in recent weeks, with Liverpool also keen on the Gladbach star.
However, German publication Bild has revealed that the Gunners have now joined the race for his signature, despite Nordtveit playing for the Arsenal youth team prior to his move to the Borussia Park back in 2011.
It has been revealed that he is already in talks over a potential move, with the Gunners hoping to secure a summer deal for the defensive midfielder.
But, Monchengladbach have offered the 25-year-old a new contract in an attempt to ward off any interest from the Premier League, giving Nordtveit several options in regards to his future.
The Norway international has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
