Arsenal interested in Napoli attacker as injury crisis continues

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering a move to sign Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne in order to add more options into his squad, Daily Star reports.

The 24-year-old has now emerged as yet another transfer target for the club given their recent injury crisis that has seen seven first team players sidelined.

Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, and Tomas Rosicky are all unavailable for selection, leaving Wenger with very limited options.

Insigne will be seen as a great addition to the squad given his ability to play as a centre attacking midfielder as well as a winger.

It is believed that he is currently valued at around the £14million region, but his price tag could increase even higher due to his displays this season.

The Italy international has featured in 15 Serie A matches so far this term, scoring seven goals while also managing to provide another five assists.
