Manchester United have joined the chase for Arsenal target Andrew Robertson from Championship club Hull City, Daily Star reports.
The 21-year-old emerged as a target for United earlier last month, with manager Louis van Gaal keen to reinforce his injury ravaged defence.
With Luke Shaw still out after suffering a broken leg earlier in the season, Robertson was being eyed as a possible left-back alternative to the England international.
Apart from the Gunners, Van Gaal will also have to compete with rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for his services.
Red Devils scouts were said to be present to monitor his performance for the Tigers during their 0-0 draw with Brighton earlier this month.
He has been a prominent figure for manager Steve Bruce this season, starting 29 league matches so far, scoring one goal while providing another four assists.
In addition the injury to Shaw, United are also without Matteo Darmian as well as makeshift full-backs Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia.
