Arsenal are looking to buy Chelsea flop Kevin de Bruyne from Wolfsburg, with the player’s agent confirming interest in his client, according to the Metro.
After being sold by the Blues in January last season, the Belgian has performed brilliantly in the German Bundesliga, scoring six goals while supplying 12 assists in all competitions.
This has therefore alerted the Gunners, with his agent Patrick de Koster confirming that there are several clubs keen on De Bruyne’s signature.
“I know some clubs are interested in him,” De Koster revealed.
“This is normal. It’s recognition for his and our hard work.”
De Bruyne is currently under contract till 2019, but his impressive displays this season have seen him linked with several of European football’s top clubs.
Recently Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking has played down interest from Manchester United amid reports that Louis van Gaal was keeping an eye on the midfielder.
The 23-year-old has also been linked with Bayern Munich, which will only increase the transfer fee that is already expected to be in the region of £25million.
