Arsenal legend Ian Wright has warned his former club that they could lose Alexis Sanchez in the near future if they continue failing to progress in the Champions League, according to reports from the Express.
The Gunners currently find themselves struggling to qualify from the group stage after a 3-2 loss to Olympiakos on Tuesday, which was already their second defeat so far in the competition, and are now outsiders to progress with http://www.betting-sites.org/.
What makes matters worse is that Arsene Wenger’s men will need to face Bayern Munich home and away, knowing that two defeats will end their Champions League hopes.
And Wright, who scored 185 goals for the London club, believes that star man Alexis Sanchez may leave the Emirates if they are unable to challenge the continent’s best sides in Europe’s elite competition.
He said: “Normally we are out by the last 16 but this time we have massive hill to climb.
“And if we are going to be going out at this stage, people like Alexis Sanchez are going to start looking over their shoulder.
“How are you going to keep hold of him? Look at him, he was the stand out player tonight.”
Sanchez just scored a hattrick against Leicester City in a 5-2 win during the weekend, and was once again on target against Olympiakos but couldn’t do enough to help his side to victory.
