Arsenal have made Watford star Odion Ighalo their number one transfer target this summer, according to reports from the Mirror.
Ighalo has been heavily linked with a move away from Vicarage Road this past campaign, with the Nigeria international in sensational form for the Hornets so far this season.
The likes of Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are also keen on his signature, but the Gunners have made Iglaho their priority as they look to bolster their striking options.
Manager Arsene Wenger has Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, and Danny Welbeck at his disposal to play as a centre-forward, but only Giroud is considered as an out-and-out striker.
And with Arsenal always struggling with injuries midway through a campaign, Wenger is keeping tabs on Ighalo in hopes of securing a deal this summer.
Watford currently value the 26-year-old at £20million due to the high demand for his services, with Ighalo scoring 16 goals in 29 games this season.
