Arsenal are set to be offered Manchester United target Hector Moreno, who is looking to leave Espanyol at the end of the season, according to reports from the Metro.
The Mexico international defender has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for some time, and is set to be offered to any interested parties in regards to a summer move.
And it looks like Arsenal are currently leading the chase for Moreno, who could be sold for only £5million this summer with his contract expiring in June 2016.
According to his agent Eduardo Hernandez, Moreno is looking for a new challenge and has hinted at a possibility over a move in the near future.
“Moreno is leaving Espanyol,” Hernandez said.
“He wants to leave and we’re looking for another team in Europe.”
Moreno was targeted by Man United last summer, but the move fell through after the defender broke his leg during a World Cup game against the Netherlands.
The 27-year-old has played 102 La Liga games since his move from the Eredivisie back in 2011, being capped 57 times by Mexico.
