Arsenal are planning a £30million swoop for Malaga wonderkid Isco as part of their summer spending spree to rebuild the team.
The North London Club are in their 8th season without a trophy and the pressure is mounting on Arsene Wenger to make changes to improve the team and he has finally accepted that he will need to spend money to get quality players, according to the Daily Star.
Chief scout Steve Rowley has been to observe the highly rated Isco play for Malaga for a while and it is thought that Arsenal will bid up to £30million for the 20-year old attacking midfielder when the transfer window opens.
Having already done business with Spanish club with signings Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal, the Gunners are hoping this will give them the advantage for Isco’s signature as they face a battle with other clubs also interested in the player.
They have reportedly already held initial talks with the club and will pursue a further meeting with his representatives in the summer.
Isco whose full name is Francisco Roman Alarcon Suarez has scored 11 goals and assisted 4 so far this season and made his debut for the Spanish national team last month in a game against Uruguay which they won 3-1.
