Arsenal are preparing an audacious new £30million bid for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports from the Express.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old in recent weeks, with the club already having a £28.7million offer turned down by the BVB.
It has been suggested that Dortmund are unwilling to accept anything less than £31million for the Gabon international, especially after Ciro Immobile’s loan move to Sevilla.
But with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger still keen on signing a striker this summer, the Frenchman is ready to push for a new and improved offer.
Wenger is hoping to add some competition to his front-line, with only Oliver Giroud considered an out-and-out striker in his first-team roster.
Aubameyang joined Dortmund in the summer of 2013 following an impressive campaign with Saint-Etienne, going on to score a career-high 25 goals for the Bundesliga side last season.
