Arsenal are ready to match the £13.4million release clause to sign Celta Vigo star Nolito this winter, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Nolito has been heavily linked with a move away from Celta since the summer, with the Gunners and Barcelona keen on his services.
The Spain international has been on brilliant form this season and his displays have not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hoping that his addition can push his side to their first Premier League title since 2004.
The 29-year-old is also a target for European champions Barca, despite the winger leaving the Catalan club back in 2011 when he struggled to break into the first-team.
But at the Emirates, Nolito is likely to be thrust into action due to the high number of injured players, and a good second half of the season could see him become a starter for Spain in Euro 2016.
Nolito has made 15 appearances in La Liga this term, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
