Arsenal have been boosted in regards to the availability of Laurent Koscielny as he is close to returning to training, Express reports.
The 30-year-old looks to have dealt a knock to his hip during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City and was forced off with only 11 minutes being played.
However, according to the Evening Standard, the centre-back is expected to be back in training ahead of the weekend as he steps up his efforts to be fit for the upcoming fixtures.
The Gunners will face Sunderland in the Premier League this Saturday before travelling to face Olympiacos in their must win Champions League game.
Manager Arsene Wenger has seen his side struggle heavily due to a number of key players being ruled out with injury, picking up only five points from their last three league matches.
Even if Koscielny makes his return, Wenger will still be without the services of Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, and Tomas Rosicky.
