Arsenal are reconsidering a move for Inter Milan ace Yann M’Vila, Express reports.
The French midfielder has once again become a target for the Gunners, with manager Arsene Wenger extremely keen on signing a defensive midfielder this January.
M’Villa is currently on loan from Russia outfit Rubin Kazan but has found it difficult to break into Inter’s first team, and the Italian club are ready to offload the former Rennes star to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
After targeting the likes of Sami Khedira, Cristophe Kramer, and William Carvalho, Wenger could switch his attentions to M’Villa who would cost significantly less than the aforementioned trio.
And it seems that Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is already looking for a replacement, with Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva on top of the Nerrazurri shopping list.
He stated: “Lucas is a great player but he is a Liverpool player and it will be hard to get him.
“It certainly would be useful to us as he could help our youngsters grow.”
M’Vila, 24, has only played seven league games for Inter this season, with four coming off the bench as a substitute.
