Arsenal are being linked with a sensational £85million summer swoop for Petr Cech, Morgan Schneiderlin, and Edinson Cavani, according to reports from the Express.
Their recent exit from the Champions League at the hands of Monaco looks to have forced Arsene Wenger to rethink his entire squad.
The French manager is said to be in search of a new number one, with Chelsea’s Cech the front runner to land the role between the sticks.
Southampton’s Schneiderlin is another possible target, given the fact that the Gunners were linked with him throughout the summer as well as the January window.
He has been tipped to leave amid speculation that a deal has already been agreed over a potential move to reinforce Wenger’s midfield.
Finally, Cavani, who is another long-term target for the club, is also being linked with an exit from Paris Saint-Germain, and given that Arsenal can meet his demands, they could complete the transfer for the highly-rated striker.
It is believed that the three players will set the club back about £85million, but given the incoming quality, Wenger may be open to splashing the cash to finally complete his squad.
