Arsenal set to complete deal for Man United midfield target

Arsenal are close to completing a deal to sign Manchester United target Domingos Quina after he decided to leave Chelsea, Mirror reports.

The 16-year-old midfielder left the Blues youth setup after struggling to see any developments in his career at the club.

Upon his departure, United and Tottenham Hotspur have also emerged as possible destinations for the midfielder as they look to sign him on a free transfer.

However, the Gunners are now believed to be favourites to agreeing a deal for the player as manager Arsene Wenger continues to add young talent into his squad.

The club are now being tipped to finalize the terms of his transfer within the next 48 hours, with the Red Devils along with Spurs set to miss out.

Chelsea signed Quina from Portuguese giants Benfica around three years ago when he was regarded as a huge youth talent at the time.

Wenger is keen to rebuild his squad with more reinforcements in the summer after his side dropped vital points heading into the final few matches of the campaign.
