Arsenal are prepared to make an offer around the region of £2million in attempts to sign Legia Warsaw anchorman Krystian Bielik as a long-term replacement for both Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini, Metro reports.
Arsene Wenger is believed to have already sent scouts to track the 16-year-old who he currently being compared to Gunners legend Patrick Vieira.
Although he may not be an instant fix, Bielik is a player that is likely to fill the role for years to come as Wenger is still considering a move to bring in either Sami Khedira or William Carvalho.
His switch to the Emirates will see him follow that of Wojcech Szczesny who also moved from Warsaw to join the club when he was just 16 years of age.
Both Arteta and Flamini has been criticized in recent months so apart from signing a world class defensive midfielder, the manager will also look for a successor that he can keep a close eye on and potentially ease into the first team.
