Arsenal are believed to be preparing an offer to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the January window, Metro reports.
The 20-year-old recently angered his manager Laurent Blanc after revealing that he wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions given his limited role.
He managed to pick up a run of games following an injury to Marco Verratti, but was eventually replaced after the Italy international returned to full fitness.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of the midfielder and given his squad’s injury crisis, he is set to make his move.
Apart from them, Tottenham Hotspur and Roma are also said to be interested in the services of the France Under-21 star.
However, despite his revelations over a possible exit, Rabiot admitted that he is only keen on a loan deal given that he wants to fight his way into the PSG first-team.
He has started nine league matches and featured another three times from the bench, but is yet to register a goal so far this term.
