Arsenal are said to be preparing an offer to sign Aleksandar Dragovic from Dynamo Kyiv, a player that was close to a January switch to Manchester United, Metro reports.
The 24-year-old was the subject of a £15million bid from United in the winter transfer window, but negotiations broke down.
Other Premier League sides interested in signing the centre-back are Tottenham Hotspur as well as West Ham United.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is still keen on adding some more players into his back line and is plotting a bid to lure the Austria international to the Emirates.
With Dragovic being previously close on completing a deal to the EPL, it is likely he will accept a transfer offer from one of the interested clubs in the English top flight.
He has already made 31 starts for the Ukrainian outfits in the current campaign, helping his team to first in the league and a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
