Arsenal set to welcome back midfielders for crucial run-in

Arsenal are set to have key men Aaron Ramsey and Abou Diaby back from injury next week to help the team through to the end of the season, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Arsene Wenger has come under fire in recent weeks after unimpressive displays against Swansea and Chelsea, however returning players will give him some much needed options in midfield.

Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil are all out too, leaving Wenger with limited options going into some crucial games in the race for fourth place with Manchester City the opposition tonight.

Ramsey was beginning to look like the player Arsenal needed before he was injured earlier in the season and Diaby has been out for over a year.

“[Ramsey] is the first who will come back certainly. Now with Nacho Monreal next week he should be joining in normal training next week again. Thursday it’s planned but let’s be cautious.

“Diaby is coming back now. He had a preparation in France, where he had his rehab and will be back to full training on April 1.”
