Arsenal star admits interest in Spain move, Barcelona links resurface

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he wants to play his football in Spain one day, with reports linking him with a move to Barcelona rearing up once more.

The Wales international has suffered from injuries over his time at the Emirates Stadium but has shown that when he is fit and firing he is one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League.

The former Cardiff City man has also displayed versatility in his ability to play on the right flank for the Gunners when requested by Arsene Wenger.

When Ramsey was in a real purple patch last year, links to Barcelona emerged.

The Welsh star has spoken out again about the potential to one day feature in La Liga and has confessed that he would like to follow his compatriot Gareth Bale in moving to Spain.

“Barcelona play football very well and at Arsenal we want to do the same,” Ramsey told Marca.

“I’ve said it before – I would love to play in La Liga one day, at one of the big clubs.

“I watch the league every week. It suits my style. Maybe I will (move) someday, who knows what will happen in the future?”

Ramsey is set to feature for Wales at Euro 2016 in France this summer and will be critical to his side’s chances.
