Arsenal star Mikel Arteta has tipped his teammate Hector Bellerin to beat Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta to become Spain’s first choice right-back, according to reports from the Metro.
The 20-year-old was an emergency choice for manager Arsene Wenger last season when there was a lack of defensive options due to a number of injuries.
However, Bellerin impressed everybody when he made an immediate impact during his Champions League debut and eventually earned himself a place in the senior squad.

After already overtaking previous first-choice selection Mathieu Debuchy at the club, Arteta believes that the Spaniard can now become a key player for Spain in the next few years.
“I knew two years ago that he had the ability to be first choice at Arsenal and I can’t see any better right-backs in the next two years in Spain,” he said.
“I know Hector and if he makes the right decisions in the next few months, I think he’s going to have a chance.”
His form even caught the eye of former club Barcelona, where he spent his youth years developing as a player, but denied a return as he revealed his happiness at the Emirates.
He featured a total of 30 times in all competitions last term, registering two goals while providing another two assists.
