The Football Association could still ban Arsenal star Gabriel Paulista despite his red card in their 2-0 loss to Chelsea officially being rescinded, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Gabriel was sent off in the fixture for appearing to stamp on Blues ace Diego Costa following a brawl between the two, but video evidence given by the Gunners supposedly showed that the defender did not make contact with the Spain international striker.
However, when Gabriel was given his marching orders, the centre-back refused to leave the pitch in protest, and had to be held back by Hector Bellerin.
His actions could now be charged with improper conduct, with either a fine or a ban being given if the FA finds him guilty.
The 24-year-old is still expected to feature this weekend when the Gunners travel to the KingPower Stadium to face an in-form Leicester City side.
