Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey is targeting the Premier League title after scoring in the 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, Express reports.
The 24-year-old only recently returned to full fitness and has been picking up a good run of form ahead of the busy Premier League schedule.
Goals from Ramsey and Olivier Giroud were enough to register all three points against a struggling Villa side as the Gunners move top of the league table, while their opponents remain bottom.
The Wales international now believes that his side can win the entire competition having not won since picking up the title back in 2004.
“We believe we have an opportunity to win the title,” he said.
“We have shown what we are capable of and have to continue now, in what is a busy part of the season.
“We have to maintain our focus and belief. Who knows what will happen but we believe we can challenge for trophies.”
His return to the squad is now being seen as a huge boost for manager Arsene Wenger given that there are still a host of injured players unavailable for selection.
He has started 12 out of a possible 16 league fixtures for his side this term, scoring three goals while providing another one assists.
