Arsenal are expected to have star midfield duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez back to full fitness for their clash against Chelsea this Sunday, London Evening Standard reports.
The Gunners were unable to break the deadlock against Stoke City without the pair, which was the first time both players were unavailable for selection since Sanchez’s arrival back in the summer of 2014.
And the 0-0 draw means that Arsene Wenger’s men were unable to take advantage of Leicester City’s 1-1 tie with Aston Villa, with both clubs level on points at the top of the table.
Wenger is also vary of Chelsea’s threat to their title challenge, with the Blues unbeaten to Arsenal since 2011.
However, the possible availability of both Sanchez and Ozil means that the Gunners have an extremely good opportunity to break their win-less streak against the champions this weekend.
On the other hand, Chelsea will hope that Diego Costa also recovers in time for the fixture, with the Spain international sustaining a shin injury in their 3-3 draw against Everton.
