Arsenal have been boosted by the news that star defender Hector Bellerin will be able to face West Bromwich Albion this weekend, according to reports from ESPN.
Bellerin recently sustained a groin injury that kept him out of the Gunners’ last two games with Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, but the international break has given the youngster time to recover ahead of Saturday’s clash at the Hawthornes.
This will come as a big boost to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, with many of his star players still sidelined with respective injuries.
Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Aaron Ramsey are still recovering, but at least Bellerin is back in training and expected to line up against the Baggies.
“Hector Bellerin is back but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ramsey are not available,” Wenger said.
The Gunners are currently tied on points with league leaders Manchester City at the top of the table, and a victory will send them to first for the time being with the Sky Blues facing Liverpool in the late kick-off.
