Aaron Ramsey insists he and the Arsenal players remain firmly behind Arsene Wenger, describing the recent criticism of the Gunners boss as ‘unfair’, reports the Telegraph.
Ramsey was on target as the Gunners secured qualification to the last 16 of the Champions League in style on Tuesday night, beating Galatasary 4-1 in Turkey.
But with their Premier League form proving a disappointment, Wenger has come under fire from his own supporters – with a shocking video of the Arsenal boss being aggressively booed going viral after the defeat at Stoke.
However Ramsey has come to the defence of his boss, insisting the players remain firmly supportive of him.
“He has been under some unfair criticism, but we are all out there, are in it together,” said Ramsey, who scored twice in the Galatasaray win.
“We wanted to get the result for us and for him. Every player here wants to work hard for him, we have proven that again on Tuesday night.
“I think whenever we go into a game, he knows our qualities, always believes in us and gives us a great feeling going into games. Every time we go out there we are representing ourselves, our club and our manager.”
