Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could return to action against West Bromwich Albion once the international break ends, Express reports.
The 22-year-old picked up a hamstring injury when he saw his side fall to a shock 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup.
Despite being ruled out for about a month, the winger could make a return a week faster than expected as he hopes to ease some pressure off manager Arsene Wenger in regards to his selection.
Oxlade-Chamberlain posted a video on his Instagram account showing his training progress with a caption saying that he is almost back to full fitness.
He has so far registered three Premier League starts this term while featuring a further seven times from the bench.
Aaron Ramsey, Hector Bellerin, and Mathieu Debuchy are also in contention for the upcoming match, while Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, and Jack Wilshere are still out for an extended period.
