Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is set to decide on his future career move after the European Championships this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Roma have requested that the Polish goalkeeper remains at their club for another season, after he spent the 2015-16 campaign with the Italian side.
The Serie A team want to secure the player for the 2016-17 season, too, but are looking just to extend the current loan deal rather than create a pretence for a permanent contract.
There will be an option-to-buy in the loan agreement, as there was last season. However, there is not much chance that the Gunners would want Szczesny to return to the club considering the supreme form of Petr Cech.
Further to Szczesny’s drop in popularity with the Gunners, he was believed to have commented on Leicester’s title win and seemed to be supporting the Foxes to actually go on and win the trophy.
