Arsenal may be reunited with Lukas Podolski in the summer after Inter Milan are believed to have decided not to hand him a permanent contract, talkSPORT reports.
The 29-year-old made his switch to the Serie A with a chance of making his move permanent at the end of the season if he can impress his new employers.
Podolski decided to leave the Gunners because he was getting very limited playing time under Arsene Wenger, failing to start a single Premier League match this season and being used as a substitute a mere seven times.
However, the Germany international’s move to Inter didn’t go according to plan, as he is once again finding himself left out of the starting line-up, making only six appearances so far for the Italian giants.
Unless he can prove his worth to Roberto Mancini before the end of the current campaign, he may once again be forced to look elsewhere or risk being benched by Wenger if he fails to find a new destination.
