Arsenal are targeting Dinamo Zagreb ace Marcelo Brozovic after sending two scouts to watch the midfielder in action, Mirror reports.
The Gunners may be full of talent in the midfield area but it seems that manager Arsene Wenger is still keen to add some depth after the recent injuries to Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, and Mikel Arteta.
Two representatives from the Arsenal scouting team were monitoring Brozovic’s recent performances, having travelled to Croatia to watch Dinamo’s derby clash with Hadjuk Split three weeks ago.
The 21-year-old attracted attention when, at his tender age, he broke into the Croatia national set-up, even making the cut to feature during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil this past summer.
Wenger has always been an admirer of young talent and may look to add him to his roster in this coming January window, especially if the number of injuries do not subside over the coming months.
The Gunners are yet to lose in the Premier League this season, but have only managed to secure two victories in their first six fixtures.
