Arsenal are ready to make another attempt at signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani after he issued an ultimate over his role, Daily Star reports.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates during the summer, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger refused to meet his £50million valuation.
However, they could be given another chance to acquire his services after Cavani voiced his concerns over his role on the flanks.
He wants to play as the main striker, but has constantly been overlooked by manager Laurent Blanc who prefers to deploy star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the position.
It is now said that the Urguayan international has grown frustrated at life with the Ligue 1 champions and is now considering an exit at the end of the campaign unless his situation changes.
Despite his concerns, the forward has been on good form this term, so far scoring 10 goals from a total of 16 league appearances.
