Arsenal are ready to make another move for Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi in January despite seeing their previous offer rejected, Express reports.
The 22-year-old was said to be the subject of a £32million bid from the Gunners during the summer, but were unable to lure him to the Premier League.
Following a failed move for his services, manager Arsene Wenger eventually turned his attentions to the signing of Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, another target that failed to be convinced of a move.
However, the Frenchman is now expected to make another attempt at the striker when the January window opens.
Apart from Arsenal, other English clubs such as Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with the services of the Argentina international.
Icardi featured in 11 out of a possible 13 Serie A matches so far this term, scoring four goals while providing another one assists.
Wenger has long been linked with a move for a new striker given that Olivier Giroud is currently the only senior forward available as Theo Walcott is still out with an injury.
