Arsenal are set to reject all bids for star midfielder Jack Wilshere this summer amid interest from champions Manchester City, according to reports from the Telegraph.
Wilshere is one of the many players being monitored by City, with the Etihad club keen on signing English nationals to increase their home-grown players quota.
But the Gunners are unwilling to let Wilshere leave, with several former Arsenal stars such as Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, and Emannuel Adebayor making the switch to City previously.
Arsenal are already looking to extend the England international’s contract even before the recent interest, and manager Arsene Wenger is set to issue a hands off warning during a press conference on Thursday.
Wishere has been struggling with injuries and off-field troubles in the current campaign, but has returned to full training after recovering from an ankle problem.
The 23-year-old has played a total of only 17 games this season, scoring one goal.
