Arsenal are considering a move to sign James McArthur from Crystal Palace in bids to solve their current injury crisis, Express reports.
The 28-year-old has now emerged as a possible candidate to reinforce the midfield position given that up to 10 first team players are still unavailable.
Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, and Tomas Rosicky are still sidelined, with star man Alexis Sanchez also said to be a doubt.
It is believed that the Gunners have been monitoring McArthur’s displays as they consider a possible January deal to bring him to the Emirates.
The Scotland international completed his move to Selhurt Park back in 2014 and has now earned himself a regular role under manager Alan Pardew.
However, it is unlikely that the Eagles will let him go given his recent form where he netted a brace in the 5-1 win over Newcastle United this past weekend.
He has featured in all 14 Premier League matches for his side this term, so far scoring two goals while providing another two assists.
