Arsene Wenger could be looking to reinforce his front line with the addition of Jean-Christophe Bahebeck from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, Mirror reports.
The France Under-20 striker scored two goals in the final of the Toulon Tournament against Brazil, making him the competition’s top scorer with four, despite France losing out 5-2.
Paris Saint Germain are said to allow Bahebeck to leave on a free transfer given the fact that they get 50% of any future sale of the 21-year-old forward.
His representative, Willie McKay said: “When you consider the prices being asked for English players of similar level it’s a very good deal.
“We have a lot of interest from English clubs.”
The French starlet was on loan from at Valenciennes the entire season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in his 19 Lique 1 appearances before returning back to Paris.
He is worth an estimated £1.3 million, but Wenger, who is known for giving younger players a chance, could be more keen on acquiring his services on a free transfer.
