Hull vs Arsenal, a Premier League game last season and likely to be a PL game against next season, but this time we are looking at the FA Cup fixture. Arsene Wenger is preparing to be humiliated by Barcelona in the Champions League and he faces the great excitement of an FA Cup fixture with a Championship side as a pleasant distraction.
The Gunners are likely to rotate the line-up heavily before this fixture, as the CL looms and Wenger’s hilariously bad injury record continues to cause problems to the squad, with Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla both out injured… still.
David Ospina is guaranteed to start in goal and Steve Bruce is likely to give Manchester United loanee, Nick Powell, his debut.
The Gunners have only won two of their last six fixtures in the league and would probably see the FA Cup as their best chance of a trophy as it stands. Their recent great record in the competition will give the infamous Arsenal fans faith.
